Our story

A Sydney clinic with a Cape Breton spine.

Dr. Joel Dunn opened Regional Chiropractic on Prince Street in 2001. The clinic is built around one idea: people in pain should be able to walk in and be seen — by a real chiropractor, on a real schedule, without a referral.

Regional Chiropractic clinic on Prince Street, Sydney NS

337 Prince St — same building since 2001.

The early-morning hours (we open at 6 AM) came from listening to patients — shift workers, miners, nurses, fishers. People who can't take a half-day off to see a chiropractor.

Over twenty-four years the clinic has grown from a single adjustment table to a full multi-disciplinary practice — chiropractic, registered massage therapy, spinal decompression, GaitScan, custom orthotics and an on-site rehab gym.

What hasn't changed: the door is open to walk-ins, the phone gets answered, and Joel still adjusts the spines.
